The Approved Portage & Arcadia Creeks Watershed Management Plan (WMP) text and attachments are available at the links below. Efforts are underway to integrate the various pieces of the WMP into the website. This WMP is approved under Michigan Department of Environmental Quality Guidelines for all WMP categories (NPDES, CMI, and EPA Nine Elements).

Sources were inventoried by reviewing historical and recent reports, water quality monitoring, surveying and scoring the stream corridors, locating erosion and litter "hot spots" and estimating pollutant loading (EMCs) for the contributing subwatersheds and for storm sewered "sub-subwatersheds".
