Portage Creek Stretch 11 Description:
- Blanch Hull Preserve north to end of Monarch Mill Pond
at Cork Street
- West Fork meet Main Branch Portage Creek in preserve
- Shrub and wooded riparian zone, very wide except where
rail road tracks cross
- Rail road bridges are wide, do not confine creek to
culverts
- Creek widens out into pond areas
- Some riparian edge land development with mown lawns
on east side of Monarch Mill Pond
- Pond formed by dam with approximately 30 foot drop
- Area fairly isolated, low development pressure
