Arcadia Creek Stretch 11 Description:

  • Creek flows under Stadium Drive and enters WMU Power Plant property
  • Site of severe erosion at west end of stretch, chain link fence hanging over creek gives signal of amount of erosion
  • Sand bar depositing on opposite bank, like natural condition, but erosion exacerbated from channelized portion of creek under Stadium Drive
  • Wooded wetland area
  • Steep filled areas on south side of creek approximately 50 feet from bank
